Charles Lindenmayer Park (10.9 acres)
Charles Lindenmayer Park is located between 32nd Street and Main Avenue on Highway 73.
Facilities at Lindenmayer Park include two girls' softball fields, a pony-colt baseball field, picnic area, playground equipment and two tennis courts.
Chris Roark Lions Park (8.9 acres)
Chris Roark Lions Park is located at 6200 Jackson. Facilities include playground equipment, a covered picnic area, covered stage, fenced horseshoe pits, baseball fields and a public swimming pool operated during the summer months. (This park is host to the Annual Texas Pecan Festival the last full weekend of September every year.
Wesgroves Park (7.6 acres)
Wesgroves Park is located at 5600 West Washington. Facilities include a covered picnic area and playground equipment.
Wesgroves Adult Park (5.26 acres)
Wesgroves Adult Park is located at 5601 West Washington. Facilities include two pavilions, a 1/4 mile jogging trail, picnic areas, sand volleyball court, exercise station and restrooms.
Memorial Park (3.0 acres)
Memorial Park was dedicated in remembrance of all of those who gave their lives for their country. Memorial Park is located at the corner of 25th Street and Taft Avenue. Facilities include playground equipment and a covered picnic area.
The Groves Activity Building
The Activity Building is open Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday and Tuesday nights from 6:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. is open volleyball nights. Wednesday and Thursday nights from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. is open basketball nights. However, this schedule is subject to change. The facilities available for rental are the lounge for groups of 75 or less, the classroom groups of 25 or less, the gym for groups of 300 or less, there are also, kitchen facilities, a game room, and a racquetball room available.
